So what, what now?

So What, What Now?!
The last 7 months have been a sprint. With the purpose to achieve cut through the mental health crisis killing our Veteran community – achieving the authority to set the conditions for real impact and lasting change.
This has caused hope for many, brought the from others, but it has achieved what has been needed rapidly. That phase is now complete, with a raft of lessons learnt through both success and failure – including damage to those along the way.
Now it is time for deliberate action, calm and considered preparation, and collective action.
More people moving in the same direction – supporting each other – United in refreshed purpose focused for maximum effectiveness and potential.
Purpose is not the full focus, providing ground up support to our people – to achieve systemic & cultural change through this Royal Commission and all the opportunities & responsibilities it creates.
Bipartisan, without fear of favour, focus on function not formation, fit for purpose and combined collaboration.
We will push out the recording and results of this conference – the first of many we need to have together, to collaborate and concentrate out efforts, resources and actions where they can be most effective now and into the future.
It’s going to be a long road ahead, but how fortunate are we to be here – able to contribute and support all of our community and Australia as a whole in doing so.
Head to vsf.org.au to find out more, to join in, to support – and watch this space for what comes next – together.
